Ric grew up in Lima, OH and had a passion for money at an early age.  Ric attended The Ohio State University where he received his B.S. in Finance from the Fisher College of Business in 1985. His early career began in the banking world but didn't last too long as he realized his passion was more geared towards comprehensive financial planning.  He envisioned a financial services practice where advice was paramount to selling a product, so he left banking, took a leap of faith, and started to build his own practice and clientele in 1989.  Ric went on to found Bluestone Wealth Partners and is passionate about tailoring his recommendations to his clients needs.

Ric holds his CFP® and his Masters in Financial Planning from the College of Financial Planning. He specializes in working with Retail Executives of companies such as VS&Co., BBWI, Big Lots, which own retailers such as Lane Bryant and Ann Taylor Loft; DSW and Abercrombie & Fitch.

 
Ric is recognized leader in central Columbus;  he has been named Columbus Regional CEO, has published numerous financial planning articles in Columbus Business First & The Columbus Dispatch.  He is also currently named a Forbes Top Advisor.  Ric and his family are very active in the community with involvement in The American Heart Association, The Buckeye Ranch, & The Columbus Foundation.

Ric & his wife Lori reside in Plain City where they are avid pickleball players.  They have two children, Linley (married to Matt) and Gabe.  And they have one adorable grandson, Greyson.
